Super Street Fighter IV Announcement Trailer Leaked
Ninjas have hijacked Capcom’s secrets yet again. Though it should come as no surprise to anyone who knows anything about Street Fighter, an announcement trailer for Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition coming to consoles hit the internet earlier today.
While the original YouTube video has since been pulled, there are other places where you can find the actual video. Or you can click through to see what the trailer revealed!
If you already own a copy of Super Street Fighter IV, you won’t have to buy another disc. Arcade Edition will be available as DLC, which includes the four new characters (Yun, Yang, Evil Ryu and Oni). The replay channel will be getting a bevy of new features, such as the ability to send replay data to other players, the ability to follow players with over 3,000 PP, and even the ability to get notifications when one of your followed players has a new replay up. If you’re tired of scouring up and down the list to find Daigo videos (like me), this is a great addition.
The most interesting feature on the way is the ability for people without the DLC to play those with it. In the video, it sort of makes it sound like you can choose between Super and AE versions of characters, but I’ve also read that the balance changes will be free and distributed to everyone.
Will I be buying this? Yes. Twice. One for each of my consoles. This looks like a great update to one of my all-time favourite games. I haven’t played much Super Street Fighter IV of late because I’ve been knee-deep into Marvel vs. Capcom 3, but this might be the update to bring me back!
